Melissa is exploding like an atomic bomb right now. I wouldn't be shocked if we see a major hurricane before sunrise tomorrow.

If this keeps RIng at the pace it is and doesn't EWRC, I wouldn't be shocked if we saw a C5 tomorrow.

That, except hot moisture from the ocean in a heat engine. That's some of the most explosive convection I've ever seen.

My peak intensity estimate will change depending on track updates but now
170mph+
Only that low because the eye will be quite large for a long time.
