Did not expect the most likely tornado intensity to be 140-170 MPH.

I didn’t either, but the kinematics are present, however, intense tornadoes are only going to be possible along the dying boundary.

That is the only area in the parameter space where PBL winds are the most effectively backed and where there’s sufficient helicity/streamwiseness.
