Youre our eyes on the ground lol for heating/lapse ratesI will. This is actually beginning to look like a concerning day.
80 degrees outside right now…Youre our eyes on the ground lol for heating/lapse rates
That's concerning to say the least...80 degrees outside right now…
Maybe, I could see it verifying as a low end MDT, with maybe an intense TOR or two.Wondering if we may see a moderate risk upgrade.

Yeah. Regardless, seems like a potent set up for today.Maybe, I could see it verifying as a low end MDT, with maybe an intense TOR or two.
I’m at 83/74 in KatyYeah. I’m quite on edge right now. Sun is peeking out, dew point up to 72, and humidity is 84%.
Regardless of what categorial risk people are in today in East Texas, I'd keep a close eye out.I would think if they were going to do it they would have done it at 1630Z.
Yeah, today is a day where if everything can come together, we’re definitely gonna have some big ones.Regardless of what categorial risk people are in today in East Texas, I'd keep a close eye out.
Given the environmental parameters we're seeing already, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a violent tornado somewhere in SE Texas. I think the greatest risk for that, particularly over the next 2-4 hours, is going to be western to northern portions of the Houston metro, especially if the semi-discrete convection that's initating right now east of the San Antonio metro can establish itself.
I'd also keep a close eye on the southern end of the complex of storms just east of Austin since that appears to be in closer proximity to the warm front.
