This looks like a pretty significant southward/ eastward advancing MCS event with a multitude of damaging wind reports.

It is always just a baseline. It usually changes.
 
The problem I see with a more significant North AL threat is how hard the cold front surges almost due S tomorrow. Seems like it overpowers everything and prevents a more organized surface low.

That is a very good point, it does look like the front could just overtake the line.

Stuck north of the warm front today. 52 here while it's in the 70s just about 2 hours further south.

This has been the theme all winter and spring for us..
 
Reports of 2-inch hail causing damage in Morris County, TX. Storm is tornado warned but hail is probably the bigger threat at this point.
