I just got under a severe thunderstorm warning. I'm just hoping there isn't any hail in it lol.It sounds like things are going crazy. I hope everyone is OK there.
What were the high temperatures for today?Had to deal with fog, and now a June like MCS on April 10. Yesterday, we were in the 30s.
Welp.. had a tornado
Ensembles are pretty consistent in voodoo land for persistent troughing over the west to take hold after this ridge dissipates. The timing varies between GFS and Euro, but it looks like it could get pretty active again to end April.Based on the GFS and EURO next wensday through Friday may give the United states a shot at some severe weather.
IIRC, wasn't that what @Matt Grantham was basically suggesting could happen around that time period earlier?Ensembles are pretty consistent in voodoo land for persistent troughing over the west to take hold after this ridge dissipates. I’m sorry but I just don’t see that looking at the models. Looks pretty benign to me. I would expect the actual action to be relegated to the plains.Ensembles are pretty consistent in voodoo land for persistent troughing over the west to take hold after this ridge dissipates. Was rated ef1 fyi. Can’t post so I have to reply. Idk wth is up with this forum issue this week..
A little late, but I'm over by Cherokee school, and we had the same.We had 2 rounds in Guntersville over on Wyeth. Round one was all pea size with some soft nickle size mixed in. Round 2 was more prolific with the pea size with some quarter mixed in.
Dang, no action for us here in the Great Lakes.Plains chasers might be in for some fun here moving deeper into April.
