Not sure on construction of these obviously, but this type of wholesale destruction definitely suggests something into the EF4 range vs. EF3 IMO.
Based on some of the contextual damage I would say it was an easy EF4.I can confidently say that the contextual damage shown here definitely points to a tornado of EF4 intensity. Obviously, the construction quality of these homes is unknown, but there seems to be quite a bit of rowing and what looks to be some scouring and debarking of some trees.
Oh, on his twitter he’s obviously full of it. I’d love to see his Wikipedia edits lol. I’m all for high schoolers being into meteorology, but he tries to speak as an authority and he’s so far from itI can…
Honestly, I don’t even know why people on this forum are seriously discussing anything that comes from him. Pretty sure I’m not the only one here who could tell you he is full of it based on his twitter posts and Wikipedia edits.
Most people that age are usually like that trust me. I am a 44 year old man and sometimes feel like I am full of it.Oh, on his twitter he’s obviously full of it. I can safely say for myself that I am a lot more mature than most high school students these days lol. Some high schoolers are full of it.Most people that age are usually like that trust me. I am a 44 year old man and sometimes feel like I am full of it.
Edit....No hard feelings toward people in high school on this chat. We actually have some pretty mature high schoolers on this site.
I wouldn't be surprised you seem very mature for your age. You are probably more mature than I am.I can safely say for myself that I am a lot more mature than most high school students these days lol. Some high schoolers are full of it.

From my stepdad who builds homes:After learning about the importance of bolt spacing the Washington-goldsby tornado’s under-rating becomes even more horrible.
One of the slabbed homes had a bolt spacing of 18 inches. Which is well above the requirement for an EF5 rating. It also had extreme contextual’s next to it. Completely scoured ground and debarked shrubbery. That should never have been rated lower than EF5.
Hey im actually about the same age as Nick! I plan on heading to college to study tornadoes, so we aren't much different zoomed out. Most people that age are usually like that trust me. I am a 44 year old man and sometimes feel like I am full of it.
