We’ve discussed how this giant rain shield may stabilize things, but what about the outflow any of these preceding storms leave behind? Is that a potential horror show waiting to happen?
Like I said earlier, this is one of those setups where you just have to throw the rapid refresh models out of the windows and focus on the *now*See the SPC gets it over guys still glued to already inaccurate models that have A KNOWN TENDENCY to flip flop the morning of an event.
No shade. Just slightly tired of the hopium. Strap in everyone.
I urge everyone to read the discussion on this MD - not only is it one of the most high-end I can recall reading, it is extremely detailed, well thought out, and provides amazing insight into the minds at work at SPC. Wow.
Yeah definitely will prob be one of top of year, if not THEWell add that MD to the hall of fame folder for sure, very high end wording
Absolutely, and probably very soon, too. The Disco from KATL is a bit lame, though. Is it possible that the MDT is extended to cover more of metro ATL?
Not on ground?Really shocked we have not seen a TDS with that MS warning. If there's any silver lining, Rolling Fork is no longer in the polygon.
Lost in the flurry of activity on social media, but one follow said cells earlier in the day would likely take time to put things down (though once they get going, yikes). I'll try to find it if I can.Really shocked we have not seen a TDS with that MS warning. If there's any silver lining, Rolling Fork is no longer in the polygon.
