0z nam ramps up instability and stp all the way to the I-20 corridor during the predawn hours Sunday.
technically the four represent confidence, not threat level. So confusing. SPC has me in a slight risk for tomorrow. Birmingham NWS has me in an area with no hazards, yet a couple of miles to my south (Jefferson County) there is a Level 4 risk of tornadoes.

I am very concerned for the northern half of Al tomorrow evening....and will be until I see further evidence that the air mass will not recover or there will storms along the coast. the instability values are way high for Jan.0z nam ramps up instability and stp all the way to the I-20 corridor during the predawn hours Sunday.

li of -7 for BHM with backing surface winds several hours tomorrow night. I know the Nam has been discounted because it shows the wave staying open and not closing....but we are getting into the nam's timeframe.Wow, no kidding! If this were to verify, Alabama, Georgia, and western Florida panhandle are all in play overnight Saturday into Sunday morning (maybe except far NE Georgia)

Yes your right Richardtechnically the four represent confidence, not threat level.
frankly, I haven't looked at HSV but I just wonder if the current thinking covers far enough north...at least to BHMThank you for that update. Someone needs to let HUN know this, because they don't seem very concerned. I'm really worried people are going to be taken off guard.
Still new to reading these. Mind telling me what we're looking at?00z NAM at 006z Sunday. Cannot ignore these if the NAM is on target. Look at those low level wind fields....
