Blowing snow on the Pensacola webcams. 2-3 inches reported around Mobile Bay.
There, Gulf shores, and the panhandle is about to get whopped with a lot more.

If the HRRR is right, this will be talked about for generations in the big bend. Crazy amounts coming.

I've had to lower the forecasted high and lows both yesterday and again today. Might have to tomorrow as well. They've been forecasted too warm (32 to near 40).

For instance, yesterday my forecasted high was 32. I lower it to 29. 29 was as high as it got yesterday.

Today's forecasted high was 30. I lower it to 26. Current temperature is 26. It was hovering between 24 to 25 around noon today.

Not just Big Bend but the Wiregrass region too! (I'm from this region, it's the "tri-state" area of SE AL, SW GA, and the FL Panhandle immediately adjacent to the Big Bend.) The HRRR just put a swath of 10 inches just south of Dothan! Crazy!

First flakes have started falling here in Decatur, GA.

I was doubtful of the gulf coast snowstorm, but it has certainly verified. Amazing, and amazingly rare event.
Equally as shocked
