Severe Weather Threat 5/25-5/26, 2024

West TN and Arkansas starting to show small storms bubbling. Could be our next area of focus for single cell storms.
This is what the southern part of the 10% hatched was issued for.

Starting to see some (broad) rotation already over Calico Rock, Arkansas

Lots of TN was included in the 15% hatched for what is developing in Arkansas, not what is going on in Kentucky at the moment.

TN/MS threat will be discrete supercells that may eventually turn into a QLCS well into the overnight hours.

New development of supercells in Arkansas, environment is as extreme as it can get. It’s definitely not the time to let your guard down.

Uhh... That an STP of over 20?
Yes, however the good news is this round of storms is forecasted to quickly become linear, and so these cells have a limited amount of time to root and take advantage.
Was just fixing point that out
That's VTP, not STP. VTP maxes out visually at 20 on mesoanalysis, STP maxes out visually at 12. Still an incredible parameter space.
