Earlington and Mortons Gap around 915 PM CDT.

Looks to have mostly occluded prior to moving over either town, which would be great news if true. May still be OTG but not as strong as before hopefully.

120gtg and it’s close to radar. Kinda expected it to be a little stronger considering tore is reserved for violent tornadoes which would have to be at least 136mph (ef3). Definitely not doubting or questioning the NWS, just kind of curious

It was far more violent just a few minutes earlier, it's just occluding at the moment.

Maybe so, but I’ve been watching the couplet for a while. Just an observation

This storm is definitely more of a cyclical tornado producer than just a single long track one.

The explanation for why is simply because this is not rocketing at highway speeds which pretty much negates occlusions or other storms from disrupting inflow.
