Any mets around to tell us why storms aren't taking advantage of the environment right now? I have my suspicions but don't want to cry wolf.

Okay, so the storm approaching Princeton KY has undergone a likely constructive merger with another storm. That has accelerated low level shear and It has started to turn right, and that would prime it for tornado-genesis.

The lower-level synoptic forcing is arriving currently. But yes, it should increase in the next hour or two.

Only thing that stands out to me are the LLLRs (though these were also rather sloppy last night when we had intense tornadoes). That being said, we have multiple tornadic storms atm so I'm not exactly sure what is quiet about this situation.

Those shouldn't be an issue if a storm can become surface based.

I think it's because most of them are training each other right now to the north of the isolated storm near KPAH. That one isolated storm is looking very favorable now, though.

Hoping it doesn't produce, but the structure is beautiful west of Eddyville. A new hook came to dominate the cell after the possible brief tornado near Calvert City.

Yeah, it's moving in a somewhat similar direction.

I have no situational awareness about what is ongoing, I’m just catching up now and viewing the radar. I don’t know why some are complaining though. You have multiple discrete to semi-discrete supercells that are TOR’d. If they’re not all dropping tornadoes yet, perhaps they are continuing to organize or there is something negative in the environment. Tornadogenesis typically takes a little time to occur for rooted mature cells.

Yes, it missed the town slightly to the south, and my uncle’s house by less than a mile.
