Birmingham National weather service mentions the possibility for a expansion of the winter storm warning and winter storm advisory in there midday discussion.
Our yard is still clear, but our windshields have ice of them. School was cancelled for tomorrow - which is shocking. LCSD usually waits until the morning of to cancel.I've had sleet all day long. Road in front of my house is covered with ice/sleet.
28 with a drizzle. at least something is making it to the ground29 degrees and drizzle in that Ardell area of Smith Lake in Cullman County
Well you should get another bump downward as the column cools and gets you to a wet bulb temp. The last push is going to have to be some CAA as well.Still sitting at 44 here. Down 2 degrees in about the last hour. Long way to go....
On the national weather service of Birmingham website on there forecast discussion. If @Gail is correct on the winter storm warning for east Mississippi, I'm more confident a winter storm warning will come for a some more counties in central Alabama.Where did you see that?
