Severe WX Severe Weather Threat - December 8th-10th, 2023

The statement I made was not directed at everyone on this forum. Just the people who were writing this system off 2+ days out. I should have said “SOME people”. My apologies.
I don’t think anyone really needed any statement directed at them and then trying to get some kind of one up or told you so points thrown at them.

Nor were they writing off no severe weather taking place. We have a few posters on here that look at things from a “chasing” point of view like TN Storm Chaser. Which differs from the other POVs of other users on here (hobbyists, radar watchers, coming here for severe weather alerts and updates). I purely took their statements and posts as saying this isn’t going to be a prolific tornado event and one they weren’t going to chase.

Last event 2-3 days out you were questioning someone on making a severe weather event thread because the models had decreased and downtrended over time, and now over here it’s the opposite?

This is getting like WX Twitter. I'm going to see my way out for a while. I'll be at the links below if you need me.

But the

This is exactly what I'm talking about.
No, it’s more about you being melodramatic. No one was fussing, no one was cussing at each other or throwing insults. This is a dumb back and forth though so I’m finished responding.

Just stay in your backyard man. That's where I'm hedging my bets for action lol
I can drive back East to MS very quickly. I'll prob adjust my target again in CAM range.

I like chasing in the Delta because I like to actually see the tornado instead of getting zero metered in the trees. The game completely changes the moment you get to the hills and I-55 corridor.

For those of you that have never chased in the Delta. Its a mystical place full of cotton fields, swamps, mosquitoes, flattest most open land in Dixie alley, and poor radar coverage. Also you have to be very strategic about where you setup so you can get back East across the MS river in reasonable time.
Stay safe out there!

Yeah I'm really itching to see the WRFs. Those are my go to CAMs

Can't imagine the road network is very good either, even by the standards of the rural south.
