Not sure if this means anything but the hrrr actually has moisture pulled all the way up to Dallas fort worth. A departure from the NAM and other close range guidance.

*NVM I think the nam did it too lol.
There is a bit more meat on the bone in terms of overall moisture with the HRRR at the same time frame though.

being in north shelby county, i can't really be upset if this one stays south. odd for sure, but given how borderline the last event was and how well we did, i'm not going to complain a week later.

...but boy would i be frustrated in places like demopolis, clanton, and sylacauga if this all stays south of them after the last one all stayed north of them.

i think everyone south of the I-40 corridor is accustomed to feeling like they have a snowshield over their hometown. might be clanton's turn.
 
Seems like the system is slowing down some based off 18z hrrr and NAM. Tough forecast for BMX. a 30-50 mile mess up could mean big trouble for areas that thought they were in the cutoff. Don't be surprised if potentially they move up the winter storm watch another row of counties in Alabama.

Yeah I'm seeing a little more cyclonic curvature over AL compared to last night's runs....in other words, the high isnt quite as strong. It's why we can't completely remove snow out of the forecast.

Yes! I'm in Dallas County and with everyone model run, my disappoint just keeps growing. I would be happy with a dusting at this point.
