and back to freezing we go, after a high of 33. That was 4 degrees lower than forecast
The other map appears to account for a number of providers, so probably includes or excludes some covered by GP.Interesting, that map isn't completely in line with the GPC outage map: https://outagemap.georgiapower.com/
They eventually couldn’t resist and played in the snow. Well sludge at that point hahaThat”s kind of sad in a way. The kids in my neighborhood were making snowmen and sledding this morning.
Agreed, wonderful event this morning. I'm in south Huntsville too and the roads have been superb considering everything. City did a good job clearing the snow. Cruised through Bailey Cove to Cecil Ashburn, climbed the rocks up the mountain then went to the bottom at the Curch of the Nazarene and did the loop trail. Safe drive, I wouldn't do it again tonight though after the freeze. The good: A nice little event for most folks until about 11am.
The bad: It’s a steady rain in South Huntsville.
I’m hopeful we get another system Presidents’ Day that brings snow to the SE.
I think roads will be good for Huntsville south by tomorrow afternoon.

We don't get to do this very often, it's such a sight for sore eyes, and the white out gave me sore eyes. Couldn't get enough of the snow though!
