Who all remembers the June 12, 2009 midsouth derecho? Did lots of damage all across the region. Rummaging through my old photo archive and came across an old cell phone shot from the mall parking lot in Jasper, probably one of the most dramatic shelves I've ever seen in person. Wish I'd brought along a better camera that day for sure lol

i dont know why maybe its because i was a kid but i dont remember the weather back in the early mid to late 2000s but upon looking back it seemed very very active
