Severe WX Tuesday-Thursday May 7-9th Severe Threat

Still pretty broad rotation but you never know what the next frame could look like. If you are in the path of these possible spin ups, take precautions.

Those rotations along the TN line are in about the highest corridor of SRH that anywhere in the line is going to get (~250 0-1km) so perhaps it's not as surprising as it ought to be. The circulations north of New Orleans have been impressive looking but the shear and instability don't seem to be aligned particularly well at the moment.

So what is going on in Marshall county? I’m working at Marshall Med Center in Boaz today and we just went under tornado warning but nothing is showing up on National Weather service for me

I know they tweeted out that warnings are not showing up on their website. They could be having wider problems.

Eight counties in north AL now report damage. That's pretty impressive for what started as a marginal risk day.

Wasn’t expecting a line like this today:

I know. I'm in North Alabama and we had at least 3 tornado warnings.

EF-0 confirmed from earlier this afternoon on Alabama/Tennessee state line.
