Svr Wx threat April 1-April 2 2024

Good. Hopefully next time they don't wait until the storm is sitting over the town before they issue a warning. Now they should get ready to tag the one near Bloomington and Jasper.

It's Paducah for you. Same people who saw a debris ball on radar going into Mayfield, KY in 2020 and didn't feel like putting out a TOR Emergency until the cell was on their doorstep and was putting out tiny Tornado Warnings, giving out much less warning time for the cell through much of its devastation. Annoyed me how they handled that night for such an epic cell.

Its inexcusable.

Someone encouraged lurkers to start making accounts earlier. Long time Lurker, First time caller here.

Hoping this system underperforms today. For the smaller 5% non SIG risk we now have in Pittsburgh, the local NWS is being very vocal about the instability. "Don't Relax!" and an animation of parameters going into tonight are front and center recent posts on their page.

Looks like they dropped it entirely instead...
Way too late to issue the warning, and way too quick to cancel it. It expired in only 10 minutes anyways. If they are confident its no longer on the ground, just let it expire. Don't cancel it.
