It looks like temps are dropping pretty fast so far, went from 36° to 32° at the Cullman Airport in an hour.

Yeah, I think Cullman ends up the dividing line. It started as a sleet mix here in west Blount county. Temp quickly dropped into the 30s. Will be interesting. Going to be a close one.

Yeah, I live on the southwest side of the city of Cullman and it now sounds like sleet coming down, but it is so small that it is hard to see

Getting reports in the area that the "mixed precipitation" areas depicted on radar in North Alabama are mostly snow. Snow falling along I-65 south of Athens.

It sure looks like it's just a matter of how much snow you get if you're on the left side of this freeze line that NWS Huntsville tweeted.

Last sleet shower dropped the temp here in west Blount to 34.5. Here's hoping it stays there.

Snow overnight then more freezing rain and sleet tomorrow. Really hope we don't lose power. I know a lot of places in southern Virginia still don't have it back from this weekend.

Crazy riding this line for two storms this week. The personal weather station on top of the hill across I-65 from Smoke Rise (850 feet elevation) is reporting 32.4°.
