OK, are we serious? This is the second time I've seen chasers speeding in TX in wintertime. Absolutely no reason to speed. That chaser video of Winterset where he rode several red lights and went thru a neighbourhood was pure stupidity, and this ranks up there too. Come on, guys.
Quick clarification that the chaser i mention regarding Winterset is NOT the same one here. I forget his name but this isn't him.

One of the reasons I try to park and tripod to shoot tornadoes as much as possible; not only because it's my preferred style of documenting the storm vs. the "constantly driving right in the edge of the debris field" method, but because driving amongst other chasers is at least as much of a safety consideration as the storm itself.

Don't like Jordan Hall for many reasons lol, he's showed recklessness many times on the road (4/20/25, started blaring his horn during a tornado and screaming. Tale for another day though.
Agree on that time frame. LLJ will increase after dark, and even though instability looks to be confined to the coast, areas that do have destabilization overnight will pose the risk for tornadoes.

Tornadic circulations may persist past 06z with isolated prefrontals STILL possible in NE LA/W MS with a embedded tor threat on the line. The timing is more late then expected, being honest. This tornado threat may last all night...

Definitely some fairly isolated spots of damage in and around Cypress. Hearing reports of lots of trees down and lots of home suffering fence damage and roof damage from my friends around town. Will post updates/damage photos if any come available.
