NWS confirmed two separate EF1 tornadoes with the storm near Charlotte NC. Here is a pretty cool time-lapse of the supercell structure.
We've been watching because if you get a hail storm like they are out here one time, you start watching for the next time.Looks like San Marcos is about to get some big hail even if that TOR warned storm isn’t producing (doesn’t look like it is).
10 fatalities came from like 4 or 5 EF3 and 2 fatalities from both EF4 tornadoes from this year. There have been a lot of tornadoes but none did damage like the Rolling Fork, MS EF4 tornado from, last year. That tornado killed 17 people. Another 3 or 4 fatalities from this year came from EF1 and EF2 tornadoes.thankfully a lot less fatalities from tornadoes compared to this Time last year. Biggest outbreak of intense tornadoes was over rural areas april 26-27.
Yeah. I am aware. Also less tornado outbreaks in south this year, that makes a big difference.10 fatalities came from like 4 or 5 EF3 and 2 fatalities from both EF4 tornadoes from this year. Point being, not a lot of long long track ef3 plus tornadoes in populated areas, or not at dark? Idk what factors are this spring for less fatalities. Last year was awful, 83 I believe for year.10 fatalities came from like 4 or 5 EF3 and 2 fatalities from both EF4 tornadoes from this year. It is a good thing but no fatalities would be nice but when your dealing with EF3'S and EF4'S they usually tend to be more deadlier than EF2 or less tornadoes. When your dealing with high-end EF4 or EF5 tornadoes those are usually the most deadliest.Point being, not a lot of long long track ef3 plus tornadoes in populated areas, or not at dark? Gotcha. Yeah I thought wasn’t to many. Wonder whyThere has only been like 13 long tracked tornadoes from this year(25+ miles) with the longest track being 42 miles from an EF2 tornado on April 16th,
There were 17 af this time last year with two of them having 80+ mile tracks.Gotcha. Yeah I thought wasn’t to many. Wonder why
I don't know much but maybe boundary lines, well defined supercells getting eaten up by a squall line, or maybe inflow outflow boundaries etc.Gotcha. Yeah I thought wasn’t to many. Wonder why
