Severe Weather Threat - May 6, 2024

Still nasty TOG NE of Carthage, MO.

Tail-end Charlie down south of Lawton is the storm the HRRR had keyed in on for several runs over the past few hours. Latest pulled back on it some but interesting to see if it takes off soon. All by its lonesome but it might be a little too south for right now.
 
Lordy lordy, I'll have to retire for the night. But areas south of OKC will have to continue to watch out as storms are still bubbling about down there. Hoping for as few casualties as possible in Barnsdall; watching the radar tonight was horrific.

Lots of lightning still in the OKC metro. It seems all the parameters are still there, but it's weird how nothing seems to be capitalizing on it.
