The cell entering St. Louis now has a Considerable Severe Thunderstorm Warning on it. The main threats are maximum winds of 70 MPH and maximum hail sizes of 1.50 inches (no sign of a "Tornado Possible" tag, thankfully--knock on wood!).

Wow, an EF4 rating isn’t out of the question here. On that, apparently Grinnell is prelim EF2+, but given home damage I wouldn’t be surprised to see that go higher.

Grinnell, KS will 100% be an EF3-EF4 when finalized. And we haven’t even seen some damage before it entered town.

What…EF2 prelim? That’s…not a good sign. Especially since they said they hope to complete the survey tomorrow…
The only damage I’ve seen you can give easy EF3 too why are they that low for a prelim?

I’m curious to see what the damage to this farmstead looks like. It looked to me like the tornado made a direct hit unfortunately.

The tornado-warned storm southwest of Caledonia, Missouri, looks like it could threaten the towns of Shirley and Mineral Point within the next 30-45 minutes or so. Hopefully it fails to produce, but if anyone reading this lives in that area, then I highly recommend taking your tornado preparations right now!

Grinnell? If any well built structures were present, I wouldn’t rule out an EF4 rating.
