Oh God....Everyone needs to hope and pray that it doesn't reach DFW.
Which one?Is that a new storm I'm seeing south of Dodge City?
North of Ashland, Kansas.Which one?
That one is growing rapidly.North of Ashland, Kansas.
or it's just cyclingthat’s already an occluding mesocyclone and probably won’t last much longer.
It seems like the notion that the tornado was indeed “weakening” was true, but as it was shrinking and occluding, winds velocities increased.
This is the unfortunate reality of radar holes, the tornado ceased to be where the radar was scanning, but still existed below the radar beam, giving the illusion that it had died just before hitting town.
RTMA shows an STP of EIGHTEEN in NW OK. I don't think it's ever shown that much before.

I hope it does too. It's a slow mover and showed a dead man walking. ScaryTX supercell is occluding, might be reorganizing. Hopefully it dies
Is that higher than the previous record?View attachment 42370
STP of 21 with a SCP of 66. Easily the highest that mesoanalysis has ever shown.
