Confirmed tornado on the Edwards County, KS storm.
Confirmed tornado on the Edwards County, KS storm.
Looks like it crossed Hwy 50 between Kinsley and Lewis.Confirmed tornado on the Edwards County, KS storm.
Makes no sense. They have a SCP of 40. The dry air has improved judging by the skew T in the area they are in per the SPC mesoscale analysis page. They have an STP of 13 which is absolutely unbelievable. I have no idea why they aren't dropping tornadoes.
It really is amazing how discrete in nature this system is AND how widely spaced that the cells are. It really reminds me of April 14, 2012. Early activity and then it picked back up in a big way after dark.
I think today would have been big time if it wasn’t for all the cloudsIt really is amazing how discrete in nature this system is AND how widely spaced that the cells are. It really reminds me of April 14, 2012. Early activity and then it picked back up in a big way after dark.
The storm is taking its sweet time, so could be good or badThe DFW metro has been getting a lot of passing showers the past few hours. My hope (being on the west side as well) is that it will weaken the cell as it approaches, but it does still look kinda scary especially with the storm forming on the back end of it.
Kinsley storm is now PDS warned.
It’s far from overI think today would have been big time if it wasn’t for all the clouds
Sure but that kept the ceiling from being reached. It’s far from over
