Grinnell definitely took a devastating hit, spoke to soon about the dissipation.

What likely happened was that the tornado weakened in the upper portions but remained strong in the levels undetected by radar since it was in a bit of a radar hole

The two Oklahoma cells may be merging, although I don’t think it’s going to help them. The nocturnal inversion is building in and they aren’t close to fully mature to brush that aside.

Honesty I was wondering about the radar hole fact. Not shocked.

I apologize, I’m on mobile so I’m not sure how large this will be, but this is the AFD discussion from Ft Worth as of about 6:40 PM. As of the moment, the tornado watch hasn’t been extended east. The mets may just be waiting to see what happens.
