Severe WX Severe Weather Threat - June 23rd-27th, 2023

Still storms now firing on east side of the sysem. I'm not in the clear yet.
GSP says we may see 'pulse' storms and if the system shifts could be more. Our big chance will be overnight.

Seems like a late spring kind of thing for us, ya think?

I think storms are too close together/too many mergers which is why we haven't seen any confirmed tornadoes yet. If the one northwest of Bloomington had more unimpeded inflow it would be producing for sure.

Edit: The one west of New Whiteland just got warned, possibly has the cleanest inflow right now and in a fairly populated area.

Confirmed tornado now

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT FOR WEST
CENTRAL SHELBY AND NORTHERN JOHNSON COUNTIES...

At 420 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Greenwood, or 13
miles south of Indianapolis, moving east at 40 mph.

sitting with a bright blue sky here in cincy. for my sake, i hope those storms keep getting in each other's way because i feel like a deer in headlights looking at radar right now haha

While eyes are justifiably on the Midwest, AL/GA folks need to watch out for the storms moving southbound. They're packing a real punch.
