Definitely a scary storm, but seems a bit trigger happy to issue a Tornado Emergency for this.

I’m a bit dumbfounded by this. TE should only be issued if there is an imminent threat to life and property by a clear cut, obvious strong tornado.
Radar, nor ground truth showed that, a simple warning would’ve sufficed.

NWS Cheyenne kept the Tornado Emergency tag on the latest warning update, but changed the wording to "Radar confirmed". Couplet has tightened up the past couple scans.
