...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN JACKSON...NORTHEASTERN MADISON AND SOUTH CENTRAL
FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 407 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near New Market, or 10
miles northeast of Moores Mill, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Skyline, New Market, Hytop, Estillfork, Francisco, and Larkin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

aaaand we have a second severe thunderstorm warning. first one didn't cause any damage and we need the rain in general, but I am getting worried about flash flooding.

Tornado-warned storm in northern Georgia. Always hard to parse things out on velocity up in this area, but the reflectivity presentation is impressive.

Theres a supercell that’s most certainly has a tornado with it in the middle of nowhere closer to an out of service radar with not a single storm chaser on it, they are all on a pair of crap supercells that are likely to produce nothing other than hail; at least in the short term.
