Got some near three inch totals across parts of Walker county just from this morning's rain, and the yard is standing in water in places; I definitely think we're gonna see some culverts washed out and creeks overflowing by this time tomorrow lol. Clearly we're doing the whole "wipe out the entire drought in one single 36 hour event" thing again

18Z NAM 3km is fairly decent tornado-wise for eastern Alabama and western Georgia. Sounding from near Ashland/Wedowee, Alabama. Really builds the instability up into northern halves of Georgia and Alabama. Combine that with SRH of 300-350 m2/s2 and you've got a definite QLCS tornado risk tomorrow afternoon. Again, don't buy it 100% but it's definitely a possibility.

I think we’ll get maybe 15-20 tornadoes out of this event/storm system. Another was found in OK yesterday out of Wynona from Tulsa so 5 there in Oklahoma total and 4-5 today in MS today looks like.

...and yeah, I had the Hammond, LA radar pulled up on GR 3 and it took me forever to find the 3 severe thunderstorm warnings the software said were in effect for somewhere in the country.
