It never fully went away, if you check the full loop you can see it got tiny but never fully disappeared. It’s been on the ground since Akron.

This has been a much more significant day than expected already; marginal instability and iffy storm mode seemed to be the limiting factors but cooling aloft and storms remaining surprisingly discrete/semi-embedded in this strong low level shear environment are making this a pretty dangerous situation before stuff really even gets into the enhanced risk

the cc drop has definitely been there all along. i wonder if it was just carrying debris aloft or actually on the ground. either way, she’s a persistent beast.
