The better shear was always going to be up there, the question was gonna be instability/moisture advection; and as Andy noted on Twitter, the colder than normal temperatures aloft are also helping to compensate for okay-but-not-great surface-level thermos.

Very brief debris ball on that tunica warning. Disappeared as quickly as it appeared
