Another TOR as the line moves eastward.
Looks like some of the clusters are breaking apart. Is it just me or is the storm mode in Mississippi trying to become more discrete?
Of course, right before the storms move into the radar hole between DGX and BMX...Looks like some of the clusters are breaking apart.
Yep, that complex may become a principle troublemaker overnight. The activity west of Tuscaloosa looks suspect. The HRRR shows trend with better severe parameters and an UH streak in the 06-07z time north Birmingham metro and moves it onward to northeast Alabama and northwest Georgia.
This event has been... strange to say the least.Severe thunderstorm warning for 1inch hail and 60mph winds in west Georgia shortly after midnight in December. Big hail zone and over 70dbz.
There were a few areas that looked like they could try to rotate in the storms going through Tuscaloosa now (before they got here). I’m in the middle of it now and it’s strong winds and just loud. For now no more rotation. It seems like it’s been getting stronger since passing into Alabama from Mississippi though.
