this angle of the explosion is remarkable given how far away and how cloudy it is.

& to clarify an earlier statement, the intersection that wkrn reported the explosion was at is larkin springs road & hospital drive.

From the video, my initial thought was a power substation. You can see power flashes almost continously, however, the power in the neighborhood doesn't go out until right when the explosion occurs.

* At 546 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Lafayette, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Red Boiling Springs around 550 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Moss,
