I don't think the Parameter space would be there with the QLCS ahead of it to worry about a Quad State situation. My concern would be a similar scenario where part of the Quad State 2021 track gets followed such as what just happened between Eddyville and Earlington.

It may have escaped notice on this thread, but there were actually a couple of tornadoes in Wisconsin earlier this afternoon. I left home about 4:30 for an impromptu chase; and drove right past Milton about 20-25 minutes before the confirmed tornado happened there. I was heading to just south of the state line where I figured a more discrete tail-end Charlie would pose the greater tornado potential. At the moment it just looked like a clustery, messy band of thundershowers, then this random cell midway along it suddenly popped a supercell structure on the back side.

So to clarify…no…tornado ally isn’t dead. 2024 was just warming up…and this is the most insane plains tornado season since 2019
