...TORNADO EMERGENCY FOR western Hopkins County and areas between
Olney and Dawson Springs....

The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
East central Caldwell County in western Kentucky...
Southwestern Hopkins County in northwestern Kentucky...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 836 PM CDT, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was
observed near Olney, or near Dawson Springs, moving east at 30
mph. This tornado may miss north of Dawson Springs but it will be
very close. All persons in the area need to take cover
immediately!!!

This is a TORNADO EMERGENCY for western Hopkins County and areas
between Olney and Dawson Springs. This is a his is PARTICULARLY
DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

It’s unfortunately right, that right there people is the tornado.

Mayfield looked far from clean on velocities.

Yeah, when that tornado was inflicting its most violent damage (Hickman county and Bremen) it looked less impressive from a radar standpoint than when it was over Mayfield and onwards. This tornado is definitely still violent

A bunch of clueless people were at a gas station in the path of the tornado apparently. No clue if they evacuated or if it was hit. Awful news.

I think this storm is going to miss Dawson Springs to the north a good bit.
