The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Northern Benton County in central Missouri...

* Until 1230 AM CDT.

* At 1155 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Lincoln, or 7 miles southeast of Windsor,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Lincoln, Cole Camp, Ionia, Palo Pinto, Mora, Brandon, and
Crockerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

Yeah I think that was just hail. Could produce a big tornado soon though.

That's why I assumed it was a nocturnal event, you CANNOT ignore 4,000 j/kg of CAPE with 800 m2/s2 of effective SRH.
