Looks like dry air is following close behind. Maybe it will win out.

I'm thinking storm initiation will probably be to my east here the shoals.

I just don't know if convection is going to be able to develop here before the dry air arrives. East AL might have serious problems but I'm questioning whether it even rains this far west. Sky is filled with clouds, but they're not really growing much.

Yep... getting some little indications on radar and echo tops there and over Pelham. Couple isolated storms definitely trying to grow. Also a little blip near Elkmont/Athens from HTX.

Yes, looks like baby cells trying to form in the west and north part of county also.

Little shower tried to get going in NW Tuscaloosa county, and poof, it was gone.

Looks like the cells that are forming are having a hard time building to anything other than small pop up showers.

77/72 in Trussville right now with sun shining. It has gone from 67/65 in about an hour.
