Severe Weather Threat 4/27-4/28

The storms across southern MO look to be trending downward based on cloud tops and radar presentation. They may cycle some, but it looks like they are moving into some more stable air. It's really hard to tell much about those storms though since the radar can't sample any of the lower parts of the storm. Thus far it seems like the WoFS has been pretty spot on with the semi-prolific spin ups along the line in IL/IN.

Aww man, Poplar Bluff is so unlucky, I remember when they got hit last year on Pi Day. They also apparently took a pretty bad tornado in 1927...

I hold the opinion that radar indicated PDS tornado warnings should only be used for storms that have had previous confirmed PDS tornadoes that are expected to continue producing, and even then only sometimes. They should not be a common procedure, Riley calling on the NWS to issue one is incredibly stupid
