These poor towns/people getting hit over and over again by significant to violent tornadoes. It is definitely something that thankfully hardly ever happens.

To put it simply, no. I cannot recall a single event like this, except from TC feeder bands, and those are not usually tornadoes of this caliber.

January 7-8, 2008 in southwest Mo produced a bunch of training supercells but likely not to the strength of tonight’s storms.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Northwestern Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma... East central Carter County in southern Oklahoma... Southeastern Murray County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1213 AM CDT, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located 5 miles east of Gene Autry, moving northeast at 50 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
