is there an analog for how the past two to three hours have gone? can’t recall seeing recurring tornado producers (possibly significant) over such a localized corridor

To put it simply, no. I cannot recall a single event like this, except from TC feeder bands, and those are not usually tornadoes of this caliber.

To put it simply, no. I cannot recall a single event like this, except from TC feeder bands, and those are not usually tornadoes of this caliber.
Was going to say, it's nearly like a hurricane's training cells on the craziest steroids.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Northwestern Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma... East central Carter County in southern Oklahoma... Southeastern Murray County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1213 AM CDT, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located 5 miles east of Gene Autry, moving northeast at 50 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

PDS warning but radar-indicated tornado
