A case of reanalysis being done right.Good call by NWS Omaha, and goes to show how thorough they were. Upgrade took a little over three months, but better late than never I suppose.
Makes me a little annoyed that offices like NWS Lincoln whiffing the Robinson tornado rating. Sure they went back and upgraded at least to 165mph but that was on structures already surveyed and not the ones they ignored completely and therefore far too late to upgrade the thing appropriately.
At least in the case of 2024, most tornadoes have been rated as accurately as possible with todays scale.
