Him and Buckeye always went back and forth. He seemed to make fake information sound true so it was what he wanted to hear.

He was odd. Had a axe to grind with Ohio too for some reason lol.

Just from reading a bit of it: Wow.... what a strange thing to get hung up on. I get it, Mayfield did pretty obviously reach EF5 intensity at some point, but there are other tornadoes that are far more egregious examples of being omitted from the rating: Vilonia, Rochelle, Chickasha, New Wren... Plus, why dog on Wikipedia about it..? That's not necessarily the greatest place for knowledge.

What's especially funny is that he argued against the EF5 or "potential EF5 intensity/damage" of other tornadoes in the same Wikipedia page.

Agree with this notion.

I was initially skeptical of everyone claiming it was an ef5 and was wondering if the conservative damage ratings over the years had finally rubbed off on me lol.

But seeing the newest damage photos I’m pretty convinced now, the only thing that’s missing are the completely debarked trees, but perhaps I’m being nitpicky.

Agreed. It’s mostly all there: the well built anchored home swept away, pretty good contextual evidence including the foundation being dislodged if that’s indeed what actually happened. I just don’t know what else a tornado would need to do to get the rating.
