Perhaps even a third EF4 is coming.
A second EF4 tornado has been confirmed near Ash Flat AR by NWS Little Rock.
NWS Huntsville, and Chris Darden specifically, did an amazing job on the 4/27/11 surveys.Small reminder guys: Hackleburg was a prelim EF3. These EF3s that are prelim 165 mph are likely gonna go up. Not all of them, but some.
Solid yes but not superWow, this really is looking to have been close to a super.
Major outbreak then?Solid yes but not super
I would say so. Based off the number of high end tornadoes, 23 fatalities, states affected, and number of overall tornadoes is going to be quite hefty from last 3 days.Major outbreak then?
I would say a major to historic tornado outbreak.I'd say it was certainly a major outbreak. But to call it super is just flat out wrong.
If there ends up being a substantial amount of violent-rated tornadoes, like more than six, then I would put it in Palm Sunday’s ballpark. But only because if Palm Sunday occurred now the amount of violent-rated tornadoes would be surely less than 10.I'd say it was certainly a major outbreak. But to call it super is just flat out wrong.
I think this one will rank more closely to super Tuesday tornado outbreak in terms of violent/strong tornadoesIf there ends up being a substantial amount of violent-rated tornadoes, like more than six, then I would put it in Palm Sunday’s ballpark. True…I think this one will rank more closely to super Tuesday tornado outbreak in terms of violent/strong tornadoes
Indeed, that's what I was getting at.Solid yes but not super
