Severe WX Severe Weather Threat 3/14-3/16

A few ruffled feathers in here this morning. High-octane events can do that. Step outside and take a breather if need be. No need to dunk on people's perceived credibility.

Aside from that, worth noting that this PDS Warning is actually radar-indicated. Pretty rare, but has happened a few times recently.
But most likely on ground no?

The mesocyclone seems like it's continuing to strengthen, when it drops if it does it'll be strong.

PDS Tornado Watch has been issued. Here's the summary:

"SUMMARY...MULTIPLE SUPERCELLS ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH
EARLY EVENING FROM EASTERN LOUISIANA INTO MUCH OF MISSISSIPPI. WITH
A VERY FAVORABLE ENVIRONMENT IN PLACE, NUMEROUS TORNADOES ARE
EXPECTED, INCLUDING THE POTENTIAL FOR MULTIPLE INTENSE TO VIOLENT
TORNADOES (EF3-4+). SCATTERED LARGE HAIL UP TO 1.5-2.5 INCHES IN
DIAMETER AND DAMAGING WINDS OF 60-75 MPH WILL ALSO BE A THREAT AS
THESE THUNDERSTORMS MOVE NORTHEASTWARD. "

But most likely on ground no?
Hard to tell for sure. Radar sites are a while away so it might be looking at elevated (albeit very very strong) rotation. Obviously, would not be taking the slightest of chances if I were in the polygon, but no obvious sign of TOG at this very moment aside from apparent intense TVS.

Hmmm, following up on that, this is about the clearest possible sign that there is, indeed, something going on in there.

Important to keep in mind that radar is looking up thousands of feet into this thing, and the fact that it’s in the middle of nowhere, hardly any trees to churn up.

I doubt we’ll see a cc drop, let alone a debris ball anytime soon.
