Been away for a while, between what's been going on with the storms and some stuff in my own life I ended up having an anxiety attack.

Anyone up for filling me in on what I missed?

A large damaging tornado impacted Gordo. Lots of building and tree damage, and lots of drone footage both of the damage and the tornado.

As dewpoint depressions fall across E/SE Alabama and the LLJ ramps up, there will most likely be an uptick in activity across the south and east regions of AL.

We’re good, lowering passed just south of us. I don’t believe it was on the ground.

I can't find any confirmation of it being on the ground or any damage, either.

Yup, I’m in a MDT risk area that hasn’t gotten any rain yet which isn’t great, these events always seem to pick up after dark.

Still, hoping this moves through with just some rain and wind and that’s it.

I think it's safe to say that it did not verify for central AL but definitely did for central MS. The high risk area could've been trimmed down imo.

UPDATE: Arkansas’ 3 tornado fatalities all from one Independence County street, coroner says | Arkansas Democrat Gazette

All three of the Arkansans who died when tornadoes hit Arkansas on Friday night were on Claxton Loop in Cushman when the storm hit, according to the Independence County coroner.

My fear is people who aren't weather aware like we are will see this event as a Forecasted Convective Amplification Deficiency and not pay attention to the next event and have massive loss of life because of cry wolf syndrome.
