Severe Weather Threat 3/13-3/15/2024

Although there was no tornado, I can definitely understand how signatures like that could get misconstrued in the spur-of-the-moment. Regardless, these two cells are in a highly favorable environment and stand a chance of producing tornadoes in the near-term.

Well, that was fun. Keeping our group's owner updated (they're having a conference in St. Louis starting tonight) and discovered he didn't know the difference between a watch and a warning and the dude used to LIVE THERE! Before they pulled the first warning, I told him the cell was hooking and it could be any minute until a warning. "Oh good! If it's hooking it should miss us!" SMH And this man is a million-dollar seller while I worry about money every day. *sigh* Some days I really don't like normies. (But he did thank me profusely for letting them know.)

If this storm on the right of the circle can get a bit of separation, your looking at a tornado producer or if they just merge or what not already imoScreenshot_2024-03-14-17-24-42-49_d742e5e24846c0b0ac98c1cecc909937.jpg

"So far the storms have struggled to produce"

The storms now that someone has said that:

the environment here is certainly more conducive than it was back in indiana, and it looks like this cell is trying to tap into that
