The rotation does seem to get weaker as the altitude drops. The FFC beam is hitting it at around 3300ft, JGX is hitting it at around 2700ft and it's a bit weaker on the JGX scans.

And it looks like they took down the warning. There's still potential for it to regenerate.

think it's crossing into some more stable air. that's probably the northern limit right now.

Warning is back, looks to be on a direct course for Smarr, might impact some of south Forsyth.

It looks like this one touched down, seeing a damage signature on the Correlation Coefficient (bottom right).

Yep, confirmed tornado according to NWS. I think it's passed off to the east of Forsyth now, but wow, I was not expecting that. I thought it had outrun the instability and was pretty much dead.

It's moving into a relatively rural area again now. That area is a wildlife refuge, so it's not likely to encounter anything substantial unless it makes it to Eatonton.

New warning now between Sparta and White Plains. Seen best on the JGX radar.

New tornado warning in Hancock Co., GA, very strong rotation there. It's over a rural part of Hancock Co., well north of Sparta which is the only substantial town in the area.

I disagree, there's still decent rotation between Round Oak and Wayside.

The one that's still warned is passing between Crawfordville and Norwood. That area is pretty much empty, only town is Sharon which has a downtown all of two buildings big.

Yeah these have really threaded the needle between the Macon metro and the Atlanta exurbs.

It was a surprisingly productive event. SPC has 3 tornado reports and one wind report, all in Georgia.

Yeah, I had dismissed today out of hand after what happened (or rather, didn't) yesterday in the 10% zone.
Despite the ENH Risk day busting, this is the fourth system in a row that has had tornado damage in one of the Dixie Alley states. One of the tornadoes in Georgia Friday also produced the first tornado injury of the year. It's going to be a long 5-6 months ahead...
