Sloppiness doesn't matter in these tropical events, if they got a strong meso to stretch the vorticity, tropical events can do stuff.

Tropical type events are kind of inherently sloppy because of all the rain. Their nature is more embedded supercells becoming prolific tornado producers so the radar presentation isn't as defined as you would get in a traditional supercell outbreak situation.

Safe to say that yesterday wasn't a total bust. While it certainly did not reach it's ceiling, I would say that it at least reached the floor (pending surveys) since we had a few strong-intense tornadoes, possibly more.
