If this is legit dropping all these qcls tornadoes it’ll add to the tornado count of todays and yesterday sequence.

Ok so I think we’ll only get 1 EF3. I saw that’s the same tornado. The Knox ef2 and wheatfield ef1. Obv those latter are probably stronger but rural areas thankfully,

It dead center hit a solar panel farm that was several miles long and likely threw several thousand of those up into the air and carried them for a few miles.

That was confusing for me, lol. Well to listen to it on the livestreams. Chasers talking about it and wanting to bail on that storm.

It was a strong possibility (I thought so, that's why I didn't target there) the lake breeze would just continue to surge and undercut everything. Instead it stalled and then got pulled back north *just* enough.

I guess that was a now casting fly in the ointment SPC didn’t see when they first went tornado mod.

I mean, the tornado mod was for the environment all along the warm front. However that was the only storm really able to tap into it for an extended period of time, and I really didn't expect it to be that far east. Also somewhat of a time/distance bias was at play due to having to work until 1 PM Tuesday and back in at 4AM Wednesday. Didn't want to end up in Indiana.

Here's what I did see with the storm that initiated just north of Galesburg, IL Tuesday afternoon. Chased it roughly up US 34 until dark.

This graphic suggests a spin-up low end TOR threat, but I can't go to sleep until my radio goes off. I don't want it waking me up later lol
Time to head to IEMbot.
People here may get a little lesson in PREPARATION.
